Smap3D ASMFactory

Similar to MAFactory, ASMFactory is used to create configurable assemblies for use with LayoutEditor.

The basis for assembly generation is an Excel table and a template file. These contain all the necessary information for configuring the assembly.

Created assemblies can be added to an existing library and are then available in PartFinder’s category view.

Unlike assemblies created with MAFactory, these assemblies are "static", hence no components can be added or removed with MAConfigurator.

All components contain the knowledge of how they are to react to a height change in the assembly. On a change in the height the affected parts will be repositioned and any supports will be updated.
