Smap3D MAConfigurator

The concept of Master Assemblies (MA) is used to simplify the configuration of a machine or a factory layout. Information about the possible configurations is saved directly in the assembly.

The end user is presented with a dialog where they can select which parts should be removed, added or replaced, and how these parts are to be positioned. Finally the assembly is updated with the new configuration.

The MAConfigurator dialog is integrated in LayoutEditor. However, it can only be used for assemblies created with MAFactory.
