Machine connection

The direct integration of machines is the central component of Smap3D PIPEFAB. Cutting, bending, collaring and welding machines from different manufacturers can be connected via the so-called "pilots". In the following we give you an overview of the different pilots.

CutPilot | Connection of a cutting system

BendPilot | Connection of a bending machine

  • Calling up the bending program via fabrication orders/units or isometrics
  • Adjustments to the bending program by the machine operator are possible
  • One machine can be connected per BendPilot
    (included for machines from the manufacturer Pipe Bending Systems)

CollarPilot (Light) | Connection of a collaring machine

  • Calling up the collaring program via fabrication orders/units or isometrics
  • Adjustments to the collaring program by the machine operator are possible
  • One machine can be connected per CollarPilot
    (included in the full version for systems from the manufacturer T-Drill)

WeldingPilot (Light) | Connection of a welding machine

  • Visualization of the welds in 3D
  • Documentation of the welding process for quality assurance
  • Retrieval of the welding program via fabrication orders/units or isometrics
